SADAFCO launches Saudia evaporated milk
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 17 - 02 - 2013

Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO), a leading manufacturer of an extensive range of nutritious dairy and foodstuff items for consumers of all age groups, launched Saudia Evaporated Milk in Saudi Arabia.
Introduced in a unique easy-to-pour, re-sealable carton pack, the great-tasting Saudia Evaporated Milk now offers tea lovers the convenience of a re-sealable pack that can be neatly and hygienically stored in the refrigerator between uses.
The Saudia offering is full cream and available in a 200ml pack while the 500ml re-sealable variant of the product will also be introduced.
Commenting on the launch of the new product, SADAFCO's Director Marketing, Mohammed Attar, said "Saudia Evaporated Milk is a result of extensive research and a deep understanding of consumer preferences. This prompted us to develop an innovative, re-sealable and easy-to-pour cap for the carton packaging that contains a product that is refreshingly rich and creamy."
"Saudia Evaporated Milk is a high-appeal, unique proposition for consumers and we are confident that the product will quickly attract attention and secure a place as the preferred Tea Whitener in the region," added Attar.
Manufactured in SADAFCO's Jeddah Factory, the product will be offered at a competitive price of SR3 per 200ml pack that has 25 percent extra volume compared to canned products in this category. The distribution process for the new product has commenced and the product will become available across all food outlets and convenience stores during the course of this week.
In order to allow consumers to experience the taste and quality of this new product from dairy market leaders SADAFCO, an awareness-building campaign, which will include sampling, will soon be implemented at popular shopping locations across the Kingdom. Besides Saudi Arabia, Saudia Evaporated Milk will also be available to tea users across Bahrain, Qatar and Jordan. — SG
