RIYADH – Demand for corporate aviation continues to grow amongst Middle East companies as NasJet, the largest private jet operator in the region, increases its fleet size in 2013 to fulfill requests. It's estimated that at least 42 percent of the trading groups and large corporations based in Saudi Arabia have made or are making use of corporate aircraft during the initiation and closing stage of business transactions. Aircraft are used to transport major clients, VIP's and rewarding key staff. NasJet has served the business community in the Middle East since 1999 and has seen the number of businessmen using corporate aircraft grow, year on year by 12 percent. “In 2012 we identified an upward trend in the number of businesses in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Abu Dhabi using our aircraft to access remote destinations currently not served by the commercial airline hub cities,” said Head of Sales AbdAllah Al Cherry. – SG
