The Lulu International group operates one of the most popular and a pioneer retail chain in the Middle East — Lulu Hypermarket Supermarket, department stores and shopping malls.
Under the dynamic leadership of Yusuffali M.A., the group's retail chain Lulu caters to over 5,00,00,000 customers every day and enjoys over 48 percent of total retail market share within the Gulf states. The group has opened 104 shops throughout the GCC. With the chain planning to implement upcoming projects, Lulu's market share is sure to be increased. In addition, the group has ushered in a revolution in retail marketing.
With an annual turnover of $4.75 billion, it is ranked as one of the biggest Indian-owned groups in the Middle East. The Lulu employees' profile offers a snapshot of multi-ethnicity of more than 29,900 people from over 29 countries. It sets high standards by its infrastructure, quality of products, delivery and envisions promotional offers as well.
Lulu's expansion drive reached the Kingdom and was the first hypermarket to be opened in Al-Khobar, Eastern Province. It was the 76th shop of Lulu. The second venture in the Kingdom was Lulu shopping center at Rabwah, Ext.14 Riyadh, in the Saudi capital. The third launch was at Riyadh Avenue Mall, located in Murrabba, Riyadh. Riyadh Avenue also houses many other international brands, restaurants, food courts, jewelry shops and coffee shops.
Lulu opened a new hypermarket, its fourth in the Kingdom, in Riyadh located at Ibn Sulaiman Commercial Center, Batha. Lulu will launch more outlets in Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah regions in the near future.
The Hypermarket showcases the fresh food section comprising fruit and vegetables, dairy products, meat, fish and hot and cold ready-to-eat food. It also has a huge area dedicated to department store items such as electronics, IT products, home appliances, sports, stationery, furnishing and furniture, fashion brands for ladies, gents and kids.
Lulu offers electronic cash counters and professionally trained staff to ensure hassle-free shopping experience. Lulu hypermarket features the widest choice of world-class brands at fairest prices and also offers a whole world of shopping with a good selection of brands and product lines under a single roof.
Lulu's winning formula of value for money and quality shopping is a matter of delight for the residents of the Kingdom who will cherish the pleasurable shopping experience and the economy it offers.
“Lulu imports the products directly from the manufacturer, so we can provide maximum for less price to our customers,” said by M. Abdul Basheer, Regional Director Eastern Province.
“Lulu imports qualitative latest technology updated products from the producers, so we can be the first to introduce the latest electronic products in the Kingdom market,” he added.
