RIYADH – Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) provided IGNet as the first integrated Internet service for its customers home and abroad. The service is operated from two Internet nodes situated in Riyadh and Jeddah centers running coactively to provide the best and uninterrupted Internet connection. The two nodes are interconnected with operators, international service providers and content developers like TATA and Level 3. The service shall be provided through marine and land cables to reach Europe, US, India and South East Asia. The service shall be uninterrupted and based on a predefined plan and allowing 100 percent use of capacity under all conditions. The capacity available to customers inside and outside of the Kingdom amounts to 400 Gbps. STC performs continuous development to further provide its customers with the basic and renovated solutions and value-added breakthroughs. It carries out a pioneering mission in this regard as it rests on huge local and international investments in infrastructure and other strategic partnerships with major regional and global operators. – SG
