Published in The Saudi Gazette on 22 - 01 - 2013

LuLu Hypermarket, Saudi Arabia is all set to celebrate “Flavors of India” week of the year 2013, starting from Jan. 23 and will continue until Jan. 29, 2013. The seven-day event will showcase variety of products from India.
Hamid Ali Rao, Ambassador of India to Saudi Arabia, will be the chief guest to inaugurate the “Flavors of India” Campaign. The inauguration will be held on Jan. 23 at 11:00 a.m. at LuLu Hypermarkets, Murabba, Riyadh.
The prime focus of “Flavors of India” Week is to portray LuLu Hypermarkets as a unique shopping experience for its customers. The event will prove the length to which LuLu goes to serve its customers no matter whatever their nationality. This will mainly showcase the diversity of India and its rich culture.
Given the cosmopolitan clientele and culture of LuLu, “Flavors of India” Campaign will broaden its horizon to exhibit the fresh import meat ranges from India like Indian mutton, beef, veal, buffalo meat, variety of Indian fishes like Karimean, White Pomfret, Rohu fish, fresh Tiger Prawns and many more. Special offers and prices on Indian products are available during the festival. First two days will be Biryani Fest, followed by Chat Fest, Sweet Fest, Malabar Fest & Kebab Fest. The Flavors of India Week also has a large variety of delicious Indian cuisine to take home, added Shafeek Rahman, General Manager, LuLu Hypermarkets, Central Region.
As part of the event, there will be “buy 2 get 1 free” promotion on exotic ranges of Sarees and Churidhars in LuLu Department Store and it will continue until Feb. 3, 2013. A special pavilion called Indian Bazaar showcasing Indian brands and products has been arranged for customers during this period.
Also there will be a photo exhibition by K.N. Wasif, a well-known news photographer from India on India's architectural heritage.
During the promotion period, Lulu outlets in Riyadh and Al-Khobar will be decorated with huge and colorful replicas of the famous landmarks and icons associated with India.
LuLu invites everyone to this week-long grand event and hopes that its customers will come back to shop in LuLu as a preferred shopping destination. — SG
