RIYADH — Mehran CC defeated Al-Eid CC for Super Cup, Game Pro CC won against Saudi Jaguars CC for Premier League I Cup and Star XI downed Black Caps for Premier League II Trophy in the T20 Cricket Tournament which was organized by Riyadh Cricket League (RCL) and sponsored by PSI and Bilawal Haneef. Mehran CC batted first against Al-Eid CC and made 155-9 through Habib Khan 34, Usman 26 and Ibrahim 24. For Al-Eid, Asad and Afan took two wickets each, while Maaz, Fahim and Raja claimed one each. In reply, Al-Eid CC reached 147-9. Arsalan made 42, Raja 22 and Fahim Shah 20. Habib Khan took 3-28, while Ibrahim and Majid took 2 wickets each. Habid Zada of Mehran CC was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match for scoring 34 runs and taking 3 for 28. Batting first, Game Pro CC scored 255-9 against Saudi Jaquars CC. The main scorers were Farhan Mushtaq 43, Vimal Raj 27 and Hasnain 26. Faisal and Iqbal took 3 wickets each, while Danish got 2 for 37 for Saudi Jaguars CC. In reply, Saudi Jaguars was bowled out for 177 in 18.5 overs. Haider top scored with 66, followed by Danish 44 and Iqbal 21. Imtiaz Keri of Game Pro took 4 for 28. Imran and Hasnain took 2 wickets each. Imtiaz Keri was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match for his fine bowling. Batting first, Black Caps amassed 209-8 against Star XI. Bilal made 114 runs by smacking 16 fours and a six. Sanaullah 23 and Abid 20 were the other main contributors. Kashif, Imtiyaz and Manzoor took 2 wickets each for Star XI. In reply, Star XI made 210-7 in 19.2 overs. Imtiyaz made 69, Imran 24 and Manzoor 23. Zeeshan took 4 for 30 and Bilal took 2 for 24 Black Caps. Imtiyaz was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match for scoring 69 runs and taking 2 wickets. The prize distribution ceremony was held on the RCL ground stage. President Mamoor Elahi presented the prizes to the winning captains and announced a new T20 Tournament which will be sponsored by Power Zone. Jawad Khalifa, RCL Patron, also graced the finals.
