RCA T20 tourney sees thrilling encounters

RIYADH — Twelve thrilling matches were played in Round 6 of Riyadh Cricket Associations BSF T20 Tournament here recently.
In Super League, Pak Shaheen beat Lahore Lions by 74 runs. Batting first, Pak Shaheen piled up a huge total of 256 in 20 overs, thanks to swashbuckling knocks by Abdul Qadir (64), Usman (55), Abdul Wahid (51) and Wahab Khan (46). Lahore Lions were bundled out for a meager 183. Abdul Wahab and Faisal took 3 wickets each and Abdul Salam claimed 2.
KFSH Blues thrashed Fuchs by 79 runs. Winning the toss and batting first, KFSH Blues scored 223-8 in 20 overs. Khurram Baig was the top scorer with 39, Qaiser added 27, while Danish and Abdul Malik chipped in with 26 each.
Fuchs was all out for 144 in 14.4 overs. Owais scored 43 and Aziz 38.
Shakeel Hussein bagged 5 wickets, while Sohail Abbasi claimed 3.
Amir Holidays beat BSF by 37 runs. Amir Holidays made 185-6. Baber scored 56, Kamran 39, Samiullah 28 and Ahtisham 27. BSF could only score 148-8 in the stipulated overs. Zahid was the only notable contributor with 50 runs.
Aslam and Arsalan claimed 3 wickets each.
In the last Super League match, Shuraim beat Lahore Badshah by 3 wickets.
Batting first Lahore Badshah scored 175-9 in 20 overs. Adnan scored 38, Fahad 34 and Shahbaz 31. Faisal and Mubashir bagged 3 wickets each. Shuraim achieved the target in 18.1 overs. Zeeshan scored 41, Zaigham 31 and Waqas 30.
In Premier League I, Stallions beat Riyadh Warriors by 65 runs. Stallions scored 204-6 in 20 overs. Yassir scored 67 and Asif 63. Hassan bagged 4 wickets. Riyadh Warriors were all out for 139. Abdulaziz, Abdul Ghafoor and Hassan were the only notable scorers with 44, 22 and 21 runs, respectively.
Adnan took 3 wickets, while Shakoor, Amir and Sohail claimed 2 each.
Hyderabadi Warriors scored a thrilling win over RAC. Batting first, RAC could only manage 140. Mudassir was the highest scorer with 30, Zahid Mir made 23. Mubashir, Majid, Mannan and Shahnawaz grabbed 2 wickets each.
Hyderabadi Warriors reached the target in 13.2 overs. Mohammed Bin Saleh remained 59 not out, while Mubashir scored 46. Afzal claimed 2 wickets for RAC.
CKK beat KFSH Greens by 8 wickets. KFSH Greens only 141, which CKK reached in 13 overs for the loss of 2 wickets.
In another Premier League I match Attieh Steels got the better of Riyadh Fighters.
In Premier League II action, Green Bangla beat Lahore Badshah Green by 6 wickets. Lahore Badshah Green scored 155. Moosa took 4 wickets and Al-Amin 2. Green Bangla raced to the target for the loss of 4 wickets with 33 balls spare. Kokan Khan hit 51, Mithun 37 and Amir 21.
Tigers beat Pak Force by 6 wickets in a nail-biting finish. Batting first, Pak Force made 216 in 20 overs. Upol claimed 2 wickets. Tigers achieved the target in 19.4 overs. Alvi scored 66, Alal 61, Jewel 25 and Upol 23.
Combined-XI beat TBCC by 73 runs. Combined-XI put on 227-2 in 20 overs and bundled TBCC out for 154.
Riyadh Panthers beat Kashmir Press by 7 wickets. Batting first, Kashmir Press could only score 143. Riyadh Panthers reached the target in 13.2 overs.
