JEDDAH — Team DJ Auto Parts stamped its class in the MMX category with a 4-0 shut-out of Hitec-Hidada team and Category C newcomer team Dark Horse showed promise with an impressive 4-0 debut game against Garden City during the first week of eliminations of the 4th Al Baik Team Tennis Challenge 2012 at the Al Bilad Hotel tennis courts here recently.
Over at the Sheraton Hotel tennis courts Category C team Hitec-Hidada scored a closely fought 3-1 victory over Toyota Express.
Starting off with Romeo Espino/Ben Consolacion team DJ Auto Parts had to endure tie break before winning 8-7 over a stubborn pair of Hitec-Hidada?s Jojo Aran/Tony Cleofas to take the first set. Same was true for the 2nd set as Froilan Malapad/Nur Panizales narrowly escaped to win 8-6 against Ruben Macalindong/Tirso Manalo to give team DJ Auto a commanding 2-0 lead midway through the match.
