MANILA — Lea Salonga, the original Kim in “Miss Saigon,” has a few tips for those who want to audition for the revival of the hit musical slated next year in UK. “Enjoy yourself, try not to get too nervous, stay on pitch…” she said in an interview aired on “24 Oras”. The Philippine auditions will be held from Nov. 19 to 27. It is said that the “Saigon” producers are looking to cast as many Filipino actors as they can. “[It] makes me incredibly, incredibly happy that they [the producers] are coming back,” Lea said. Singer Jamie Rivera, who also played Kim, is as jubilant that the producers are holding special auditions here. “Hanga sila kaya hindi na nga sila lumilibot sa ibang lugar. Pag sinabing Miss Saigon, dito na agad so dapat mabigyan, mapatunayan natin sa kanila na oo naman, dito lang kayo, wag na kayo lumayo.
