JEDDAH — Telugu Kalaakshetram, an organization from the state of Andhra Pradesh, India will organize a blood donation camp today at King Fahd Medical City on Dabab street in Riyadh. The camp will be open from 9 AM - 5 PM. P. VenuMadhav, President of Telugu Kalaakshetram, requests people to come forward and take part in this noble cause for the sake of humanity. He said that he feel very proud to organize the blood donation camp for the fifth time, and the response has been phenomenal every time. VenuMadhav expects more response this time and welcomes other associations to join them. VenuMadhav further said that their camp would provide donors with blood donation certificates and lunch would also be offered to them. Medical tests to detect any viral diseases will be conducted free of cost. An important point for all those who are interested is that if they are diabetic, or are on permanent medication for hypertension, or those whose hemoglobin content is low cannot donate blood.
