LONDON — Former world heavyweight champion David Haye says he will apply for a British boxing license in a bid to secure a title fight with WBC holder Vitali Klitschko. Haye used a license from the Luxembourg Boxing Federation when he came out of retirement and beat fellow Briton Dereck Chisora in a non-title fight in July. However, he says he has given up that license and wants to fight the older Klitschko brother. Haye said Tuesday “this is the only fight that interests me at heavyweight and the WBC world heavyweight title is the one belt I'm desperate to win before I retire for good." — AP
