A survey commissioned by Australian company Amaysim about Facebook usage provides a list of actions most likely to result in an unfriending. Survey participants noted that the worst possible thing a friend can do is to “use Facebook like a diary," followed by posting boring updates and sharing photos of meals. Other nasty Facebook habits included constant status updates, using foul language and “being negative." Posting embarrassing photos of your friends is not appreciated and people are divided on whether they like or hate inspirational quotes. The perfect Facebook friend is said to “Like" their friends'content (41%) and be responsive to comments and invites (47%). Funny updates (64%) and interesting photos (64%) were named as the best Facebook assets.
