Her acting skills are well-known and have been appreciated by critics and fans alike. Yosra, this year has acted in a TV series called “Sharbat Loaz" which is written by screenwriter Tamer Habeeb, who has also penned the “Top Private," another TV series in which Yosra starred. Starring alongside Yosra in the series is Samir Ghanem, a famous comedian in the Middle East who has imitated more than 90 actors in various shows. Ghanem made his debut in the acting world with Al-Dhaif Ahmad and George Sidhom. The trio have acted in a number of movies and delivered great comical performances. Ghanem in the 70s has acted in theaters with Sidhom and in the 80s he appeared in Ramadan Puzzles program. The series, despite having renowned personalities associated with it, has failed to impress the critics who claimed that Yosra's character and acting was in no way different from her previous performances. Hence, offering nothing fresh to her audience. Many critics compared her character in “Sharbat Loaz" to “Nadiya Anzaha" in which Yosra acted few years ago. Habeeb denied knowing anything about the role played by Yosra as Nadiya Anzaha, saying that he has not watched the series. Yosra has also slammed the critics by saying that both her roles were clearly distinctive. She said that just because both the characters she played were brazen doesn't mean the entire role in both the series mentioned above was similar. “I always aim to play good and bad characters. I'm glad and content about the character of Sharbat," said Yosra. Some of Yosra's fans are also not happy with her playing the character of an insolent woman. Rana Abdul Hakeem, an ardent fan of Yosra, said: “I love Yosra a lot but I don't see her in such roles. For me, she is at her best when she plays the character of an aristocratic lady or an educated woman who hails from a high social class. Yosra, has not done any justice to Sharbat's character."
