Sage Moonblood StalloneLOS ANGELES — Sylvester Stallone's actor son has been found dead at home in Los Angeles at the age of 36. Sage Moonblood Stallone, 36, who starred alongside his dad in Rocky V, was found dead alone at his Hollywood apartment. Sylvester's spokeswoman said the star is devastated and grief-stricken at his eldest son's death. She added: “His compassion and thoughts are with Sage's mother, Sasha. “Sage was a very talented and wonderful young man, his loss will be felt forever." A Los Angeles County coroner's investigator said there were no signs of foul play. Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said prescription bottles were recovered in the investigation, but he could not say what kind or how many, and whether they had a role in his death. Winter said Sage Stallone was found unresponsive by an employee and a relative, and police arrived and confirmed he was dead. No suicide note was found. An autopsy will be performed in the next few days and investigators will look into Stallone's medical history, but a cause of death was likely to take several weeks while toxicology tests are performed, he said. Sage appeared with his father in two films, making his debut 1990's Rocky V and also appearing with Sly in 1996's Daylight. He also directed the 2006 short “Vic," which screened at the Palm Springs Film Festival. Sage's lawyer George Braunstein added: “He was in good spirits, and working on all kinds of projects. “He was planning on getting married. I am just devastated. He was an extremely wonderful, loving guy. This is a tragedy.“He was a full of life filmmaker with his whole future ahead of him," Braunstein said. “He was just very up and enthusiastic and positive. “I think it was probably some sort of accident," he said of the death. — Agencies
