The International Islamic Relief Organization-Saudi Arabia (IIROSA) has adopted new procedures and measures to keep up with global changes, said its Chairman and Muslim World League (MWL) Secretary General Abdullah Al-Turki during IIROSA's 7th General Assembly meeting here Thursday morning. Addressing a gathering of eminent personalities and Islamic scholars from the Kingdom and abroad, Al-Turki said: “Our religion stresses cooperation with people of other faiths and cultures. We are in need of institutions that are open and can deal with others.” Dr. Adnan Basha, secretary general of IIROSA, outlined last year's report. A film was shown on the projects. The General Assembly's draft agenda included the approval of the report of the auditor on the general budget and the organization's final accounts for 1431/1432H (2010/2011), the appointment of an external auditor to audit the organization's accounts for the fiscal year 1432/1433H (2011/2012), follow up on the implementation of the General Assembly decisions and remarks of members, amendments to the basic system according to Article 18 of the regulation, the nomination of new members for IIROSA General Assembly, the selection of members of Board of Directors. __
