The prestigious award is recognizing STC's leadership in providing the best telecommunications services in the region as well as its international growth strategy. STC new regional achievement reflects the group abilities to further strengthen its position as one of the largest and most technologically advanced telecom operators both in domestic and international markets. The success materialized as a result of STC's continued efforts to offer innovative and integrated products, and services and sustain its operational and financial performance. STC Group has succeeded in remaining at the forefront of the telecommunications and information technology sectors in the Middle East and beyond, by optimizing operations and leveraging expertise and strength in providing customers with the latest technologies and services. The group linked its success to developing telecommunications industry that reflects the strong revenues and net financial growth. The award assures the position that STC Group has achieved as one of the best broadband providers in the region, especially when STC Group has earned the biggest share market in KSA throughout this year. The ongoing growth has extended to other international investments around the Middle East by owning a variety of market shares in Turkey, India, Southern East Asia and South Africa. STC Group enjoys a strong infrastructure in telecommunication and information technology, for instance: broadband network, which has enabled the group to guarantee the leadership over its rivals in lunching 3G and 4G in the region to provide the best coverage in the Kingdom by covering over 65 percent of the Kingdom's geographical area by the end of 2012, and about 90 percent by the end of 2014.
