Emirates Aviation College offers careers on the ground and in the skies

The first class students of the EASA Licensed ATPL Pilot Training program in their new uniforms with Dr. Ahmad Al Ali.DUBAI – For many interested in a career in aviation, Emirates Aviation College - Dubai, the regional institution of choice for higher education in Aviation Studies in the MENA region has introduced four new education programs. The four new programs are a Masters of Science (MSc) degree in Aviation Safety/Security, an MSc in Engineering Management, a higher technical diploma in Transport Management & Logistics, and the EASA Licensed Pilot Training ATPL program.
Presented in collaboration with Jeppesen, the EASA Licensed Pilot Training program was created to specifically address the need for commercial airline pilots in the coming decade. Industry studies show that an average of 23,000 additional pilots are needed per year over the next 20 years to fulfill the demands of air travelers and the growth of airlines worldwide.
These programs add to the already expanded course degree/certificate offerings which include: MBA in Aviation Management; Bachelor degrees in Aerospace Technology, Avionics Technology, Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Management and Applied Business; Diplomas and Higher Diplomas in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Computing, Computing Software Development, Business Management and Tourism Management. An Open Day for the public will be hosted in their college Saturday (April 28), where prospective students and their families may visit the campus and experience first-hand the diversity of the programs offered.
"It is via our direct cooperation with the aviation industry, and through unique training programs with Emirates, that the Emirates Aviation College can adapt its programs to fit the future needs of the industry," said Dr. Ahmad Al Ali, Vice-Chancellor, Emirates Aviation College. "Our variety of degree programs address our student's needs - from those direct from high school to students who combine full-time employment with their studies - Emirates Aviation College sets the standard for enhancing Dubai's growing status as the centre of the aviation excellence in the MENA region."
