The recent attack against Saudi security men in Qatif does not pose any security threat to the Kingdom. Although some people try to blow up the incident out of proportion, the attack was a simple criminal act committed by reckless persons who wanted to carry out dubious agendas against the Kingdom. Unfortunately, these individuals have allowed themselves to be used by some foreign patrons who nurture evil designs to disturb the peace which the Kingdom enjoys. The people of Qatif have disowned the attack because they don't want to compromise the security of their homeland. The plotters and their collaborators wanted to shake the stability of the Kingdom and tto break the people's unity. But the people of Qatif have sent a loud and clear message: “Our national unity and stability cannot be disturbed and the homeland's security is a red line which no one must cross, or even get closer to.” The Al-Qatif incident and a similar one in Al-Awamiya were handiwork of individuals who sold their souls to a brainwashing by their foreign patrons. These individuals are disowned by the country. Citizens are aware that violent acts aimed at destabilizing the Kingdom will not benefit them. The citizens know from experience that the brains behind past attacks and other forms of violence were motivated by selfish ambition to grab power for power's sake and not for the benefit of the common people. The attacks often killed innocent civilians. The high public awareness about the violent activities of people and groups with dubious intent has made the nation more united and loyal to the leadership who has shown more concern for Saudi citizens. __
