Fuchs Cup: Final lineups set

KFSH Blues and Lahore Lions set up Super League, RCA FUCHS Cup 2012, final beating Pak Shaheen and Lahore Badshah in their respective semifinals here on March 16.
The first semifinal saw KFSH Blues beat Pak Shaheen by three wickets. Batting first Pak Shaheen scored 318 in 40 overs. Ijaz scored 111, Abdul Salam 95 and Ibrar 42. In reply, KFSH Blues achieved the target in 35.1 overs for the loss of seven wickets. Fakhar scored 63, Saqib 44, Ayaz 50, Waseem 41 and Imtiaz remained unbeaten on 38.
In the second semifinal Lahore Lions beat Lahore Badshah by 158 runs. Batting first Lahore Lions scored 334-9 in 40 overs. Salman Butt scored 103 and Nawaz 44. Lahore Badshah was all out for 176.
In a Premier League-1 semifinal KFSH Greens beat Amir Holidays comfortably to qualify for the finals. Batting first Amir Holidays scored 177-6 in 20 overs. Ahtisham Aziz scored 55 and Samiullah 38. Naeem Akbar and Inayat took two wickets each. KFSH Green scored the required runs for the loss of four wickets in 18.1 overs. Naeem Akbar and Rehan scored fifties.
The league's second semifinal was postponed due to the death of the brother of Al-Hamra Club captain.
In the Premier League-2 semifinals Riyadh Warriors and Pak Fighters clinched the final's berths. In the first semifinal Riyadh Warriors beat Saham by 27 runs. Batting first the Warriors could only manage 160-7 in 20 overs. Asif hit 54 runs, while Ayaz added 36 and Shaik 28. Masud of Saham took three wickets. Riyadh Warriors then restricted Saham to 133 and win the match. Sameer and Toufeeq took three wickets each, while Ayaz and Abdul Rahim took two each. Amjad was the highest scorer with 35 runs for Saham.
In the second semifinal Pak Fighters beat Riyadh Fighters. Batting first, Riyadh Fighters scored 202 in 20 overs. Imran Younis scored 50, Omar Kittab 39, Nusrat 38 and Imran Butt 29. Waqas Aslam took three wickets. Pak Fighters scored the required runs in 17.5 overs. Waqar Aslam scored 66, Wasim Ahmed 38 and Faisal Imran remained unbeaten on 38. Taqi of Riyadh Fighters bowled well for his three wickets.
In the Shehyrar Mirza Memorial Tournament, three matches were played wherein Hyderabadi Warriors beat Thales by 101 runs; the match between Kashmir XI and Crescent ended in a tie; TBCC beat Imran XI by 52 runs in the third match.
In an Abdul Qadeer Mirza Trophy match, KFSH Blues beat Lahore Badshah by five wickets. Lahore Badshah scored 195-8 in 20 overs. Saqib Abbasi took three wickets while Qasim Abbasi bagged two. Fahad scored 37. In reply, KFSH Blues reached the target in 17 overs. Qasim Abbasi, Waseem Riaz and Khurram Baig scored 50, 43 and 35 respectively. Yassir of Lahore Badshah took three wickets.
