The Speaker of the Shoura Council, Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Aal Al-Sheikh, chaired here Saturday the meeting between parliament speakers of G20 states. During the first session, titled “The Global Dialogue of Followers of Religions, Civilizations and Cultures”, Member of Shoura Council Dr. Salih Bin Mohammad Al-Namlah presented a paper on behalf of the Shoura Council. He highlighted the importance of dialogue among religions, cultures and peoples as an important means of peaceful co-existence. Dr. Al-Namlah stressed Saudi efforts in the field of dialogue locally and internationally including the establishment of King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue and King Abdullah's initiative on interfaith dialogue.
