Published in The Saudi Gazette on 19 - 06 - 2017

Yas Island, the UAE's premier entertainment destination, is kicking off its most rewarding summer season yet with the launch of the annual spend and win ‘Say Yas' campaign. Running from June 24 to Sept. 9, this year's Eid-to-Eid extravaganza is set to welcome a record number of visitors from Saudi Arabia this summer, after welcoming 27 million visitors from across the globe last year.
Travellers can sweeten their stay on Yas Island with countless opportunities to win big. Those who spend at least AED400 anywhere on the island qualify to win a life-changing grand prize of AED1 million in cash. Shoppers at Yas Mall will be in the running to drive home in a brand-new Tesla model S 90kWh Dual Motor QTST, while thrill seekers who spend their money at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi or Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi could be lucky winners of daily and weekly prizes worth AED5,000 and AED50,000 in cash, respectively.
"Yas Island is conveniently located within 10 minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport, and 50 minute drive from Dubai, making it the ideal destination for those visiting from abroad. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues to be a primary target market for us. We are constantly innovating to ensure return visits as we dial up the excitement year on year," said Gerardo LLanes, Executive Director of Destination Management at Yas Island. "With schools off for the summer, there's no better time than now to make the journey to Yas Island and enjoy all the fantastic deals we have planned for Yas Island for the season. Given that this campaign runs from Eid Al Fitr to Eid Al Adha, it is also a wonderful time of joy and celebration. Wiith so many prizes up for grabs, we invite everyone to ‘Say Yas' to winning big this season."
An additional bevvy of exciting instant prizes will be rewarded to entrants at random upon their registration at any of the nine redemption kiosks located within minutes of one another across the island. Visitors can make their way to the kiosks at Yas Mall, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi and Yas Marina Circuit, to submit their purchase receipts and enter the ‘Say Yas' draw.
Families visiting the island can also avail a wide array of lucrative packages including accommodation, breakfast and complementary theme park access for as low as AED500 per night. The exciting prizes that they can walk away with include Bronze passes to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, Ferrari Merchandise vouchers, a Camaro drag driving experience, Etihad Airways flight tickets, 2 million ADCB air miles, a Yas Mall gift card worth AED2,500, or complementary hotel stays across the island.
Visiting families are also invited to #SayYas to Eid this summer with an unforgettable season of celebrations across Yas Island for Eid Al Fitr. Marking the first day of Eid in style, Yas Island is putting on an unforgettable fireworks display set to light up the capital's premier dining and leisure destination. Kicking off at 9pm, the show will be best seen from one of the Yas Marina's seven restaurants or on board one of multiple boat cruises available on the night.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will get into the Eid spirit by opening its doors for 24 hours on June 25 so that guests of all ages can enjoy the UAE's first-ever 24-Hour Rollercoaster Rally alongside loads of live performances, games, DJ music and four incredible themed entertainment zones. Serial shoppers are also not forgotten thanks to Yas Mall's 24 hour MEGA sale with most stores being open round the clock including Géant, Home Centre, Hamley's, House of Fraser, Tryano, Vox Cinemas, Fun Works, Ikea and Ace Hardware.
The grand prize draw will be held on Sept. 10, 2017, announcing the winner of the cash prize of AED1,000,000 and the Tesla car. For more information including the full list of prizes as well as terms and conditions, please visit www.sayyas.ae.
For those who can't wait for their visit to Abu Dhabi, Yas Island will make a guest appearance at malls across KSA with fun activities for children such as face painting and daily raffle draws. Exciting stand activations will also pop up at Riyadh Gallery Mall, Hayat Mall, Qatif City Mall and Jubail City Mall and many more malls across KSA.
