Alkhabeer Capital one of the ‘best places to work in Asia'
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 13 - 06 - 2017

ALKHABEER Capital, the asset manager specialized in alternative investments, has been named one of the best workplaces in the Asia region. The Great Place to Work Institute, a global research, consulting and training firm, has released the "Best Workplaces in Asia 2017" list, featuring 60 best workplaces in the region today. Alkhabeer Capital has been ranked 6th under the Best Small & Medium Workplaces category of this list, jumping 18 spots from its 24th place ranking on the list in 2016. More than 1,400 companies participated in the national list studies across nine Asia-region countries where Great Place to Work is represented.
Ahmed Saud Ghouth, Chief Executive Officer of Alkhabeer Capital, said: "At Alkhabeer Capital, we believe that people are our most valuable asset, and that they are the driving force behind our success. Excellence is not an accident, and we have intentionally sought to encourage and enable our people to do their best. Some of our initiatives include mentorship, setting career development objectives, tailored training courses and an incentive scheme to foster motivation. This has served to attract some of the best talent from across the region and beyond, while strengthening our retention rates and creating a positive environment where our capabilities truly shine."
Great Place to Work ranks companies based on data gathered through the Trust Index Employee Survey and Culture Audit. The Employee Survey is a concrete assessment of the company's underlying level of trust, respect and fairness. The Best Workplaces in Asia seeks to recognize organizations in the Asia region that are dedicated to sustaining high-trust cultures for their employees. These workplaces are distinguished by their extraordinary levels of trust, pride, and camaraderie.
In December last year, Great Place to Work ranked Alkhabeer Capital as the top company in the financial sector, and fifth overall, on its annual list of Great Workplaces 2016 – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This was the sixth consecutive year that the company earned a place on the list, which is a clear signal of the success of its drive to become an employer of choice, where the Kingdom's best and brightest seek to grow their careers.
