Prince Faisal Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah, has honored the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) after winning the Gold Award for Excellent Performance in Government Agencies in the region for the third consecutive year for its efforts in the development, management, implementation and follow-up of electrical projects that included all projects in the field of distribution, transport, generation and customer services sectors. During the ceremony, under the patronage of Prince Faisal Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madinah Region and Deputy Governor of the Region Prince Saud Bin Khalid Al Faisal, the company has won also the Silver Cup for excellence in the field of customer satisfaction after competing with more than 43 government agencies in the region. The Saudi Electricity Company is one of the agencies seeking to continuously develop and improve services provided to the subscribers. Last year, it has received the bronze award in the same field. The award is a culmination of the efforts of the Saudi Electricity Company to apply the highest standards of excellence in customer satisfaction, applications of quality management systems, continuous improvement, electronic services, social responsibility and raising awareness of safety and security standards and procedures. The electricity department of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah in the company has received the Committed to Excellence 2 Star certificate from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) in recognition of its efforts in developing its quality standards to achieve outstanding performance and highly advanced service that meets the expectations of its customers in all its business sectors. — SG
