JEDDAH – The International Indian School Jeddah (IISJ) will host the Gulf Madhyamam Educafe, a festival of knowledge, on May 13.
Gulf Madhyamam, a leading Indian newspaper in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, is organizing the Mideast's largest Indian education and career exhibition for the first time in the Kingdom. Entry will be free for class 9-12 boys and girls of IISJ and other Indian schools in Jeddah, Makkah, Taif and Yanbu. Parents can also participate.
Entry will be restricted to those who have made prior registration, according to the organizers.
Experts and renowned figures in the fields of education, training, career guidance, counseling and motivation as well as from the media will attend the festival, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at IISJ Boys' Section auditorium.
Close interaction of well-known educators and trainers with students and parents will be the major highlight of the event during which information on higher education, career opportunities and skill development will be exchanged.
Parenting tips, counseling and guidance on how to communicate better with the children will be delivered at a special session for parents. There will also be individual career guidance sessions for the students.
Specialists will offer counseling and career mapping. Educational institutions from the GCC and India will have stalls on the sidelines of the festival. There will be a host of mind games with exciting prizes for the winners.
Interested candidates have to complete Gulf Madhyamam online member registration after visiting the website www.click4m.madhyamam.com. They can complete the registration process by using the allotted login name and password. Entry passes will be sent via text messages. Attractive gifts are awaiting the first 500 people who complete the registration process.
Educafes, held in Dubai in 2016 and 2017 were a resounding success, drawing thousands of students and parents. The second Educafe of Dubai was held in February this year at Bilva Indian School in Quasis.
