JEDDAH – The Governor of Jeddah and the Head of the Higher Committee of Historic Jeddah Festival Prince Mishaal Bin Majed Al Saud will launch the activities of the fourth Historic Jeddah Festival today. This year's festival is under the title of ‘Atareek'.
The festival is supported by the General Entertainment Authority. It will include various extensive international shows and 65 activities that meet the top international criteria. This also fulfills the Kingdom's Vision 2030 wherein we will establish various innovative, entertaining activities that will last for 10 days.
The organizing committee of the festival chose ‘Atareek' to be the title of this year's festival. This is because Atareeks are actually symbols to express happiness in Hijazi events. This is also in response to Prince Mishaal Bin Majed's request related to the necessity of changing the festival's title every year.
Jeddah province and the General Entertainment Authority are collaborating this year to promote unique activities at Historic Jeddah Festival. They will also ensure providing exceptional services for the festival's visitors. In addition, they are planning to achieve the goal of producing an extraordinary entertaining cultural outcome that is appropriate for Jeddah's ancestry. It is important to realize that this year's activities are going to be totally different and unique in order to meet the planned goals.
Historic Jeddah Festival is opened for visitors daily from 5 pm until 11 pm and starting from the 30th of March until the 8th of April.
