Published in The Saudi Gazette on 08 - 12 - 2016

SACOOR Brothers and Majid Al Futtaim Fashion recently opened the first Sacoor Brothers boutique at Granada Mall, Riyadh. The new boutique reflects the brand's philosophy of continuous improvement and will offer the Women's and Men's Collection.
The boutique located on the ground floor in Granada Mall is the first of 4 stores Majid Al Futtaim is due to open in Saudi Arabia. In December Hayat Mall (Riyadh) and Panorama Mall (Riyadh) will welcome fashionable shoppers, followed by Rashid Mall (Al-Khobar) which will open later next year. The children's collection will also be available in Panorama and Rashid Mall.
Delighted with the launch of the brand in KSA, Rajiv Suri, Chief Executive Officer at Majid Al Futtaim Fashion, said: "We are excited to continue Majid Al Futtaim Fashion's growth by bringing Sacoor Brothers to Saudi Arabia for the first time. Given the brand's massive success in the region, there has been much anticipation for Sacoor Brothers in Saudi Arabia since we announced the franchise in April. We have a long and strong track record in Saudi Arabia and are committed to this partnership to further the brand's growth in the GCC".
Sacoor Brothers has captured the interest of fashion enthusiasts and the wider public with its approach to style and attainability, with a range of services such as tailoring and the opportunity to personalize clothes with monograms, all in a boutique environment. The brand has indeed expanded beyond their native home of Portugal to becoming a truly international and cosmopolitan fashion brand with over 90 stores worldwide.
"We are excited to launch Sacoor Brothers in one of the most thriving countries in the world alongside Majid Al Futtaim. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues to be a leading market for retail and is one of the fastest growing markets globally. We are confident that our partnership with Majid Al Futtaim will yield successful results due to their strong presence and solid history and knowledge of the retail landscape in the country. We look forward to introducing our brand to this new market and inviting shoppers to experience our Portuguese spirit within our collections, boutiques and service. This month marks our 27th anniversary and we look forward to celebrating the new KSA stores simultaneously with this special occasion" said Bart Denolf, CEO Franchise for Sacoor Brothers.
Known for its quality, refinement and service around the globe, the brand continues to have Cristiano Ronaldo as its Global Ambassador. The current football European Champion continues to be the perfect match with the brand, representing the most fundamental values such as family, hard work, honesty, attention to details and continuous improvement.
A sneak peek of the Fall Winter 2016 collection shows a celebration of the virtues of authenticity and originality. For the new season, Sacoor Brothers classic menswear line combines the nobility of woven wealth of details for each design. Either casual or classic, the Men's collection consists of numerous pieces ranging from classic cut suits to jeans, polo shirts, jackets, knitwear and sweatshirts with unique details and contrasting color accents.
The Women's suits collection follows mainly the Sacoor Bothers identity, slightly adjusting some details to the current trends, always with subtle feminine interior details. Noble fabrics, with high quality wools, with silk or elastane mixes offer more comfort, also giving the fitting a more structured look. The patterns worked this season are mainly herringbones, pinstripes, birds eye or classic plains with elastane. Selected suits are made in Portugal and can be identified with a special tag.
