Village Restaurant opens its 3rd branch in Jeddah
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 21 - 11 - 2016

VILLAGE Restaurant, one of the leading chain of traditional Indian cuisine restaurants in Jeddah, has opened its third branch on Tadamun Al Arabi Street (near Isthakdam Office).
Speaking to Saudi Gazette, Abullais, managing director of the restaurant, expressed his happiness on opening the third branch. "Year 2005, we opened our first branch on Sharfiyah where our focus was to serve our customers the real authentic pioneer of South Indian food with good quality. In fact, it was an experiment for us to know whether people are fond of South Indian food and we succeeded by the grace of Almighty Allah, which has motivated us to open our second branch after five years, this time with a with a banquet hall, on Arba'een Street. In our second branch, we focused not only South Indian customers, but also from other part of India as well as Arabs by introducing multi cuisine dishes. The cuisine is different in all three branches.

Jalal Baig, Operation Manager in Village Restaurant, said "in our 2nd branch, we serve the most authentic Indian, Chinese, Arab sea food and Continental menu. Tandoori dishes are cooked fresh in traditional clay oven. Our world-famous Indian curries are a wondrous admixture of exotic spices. Biryani, fried rice, noodles, sea food, sizzlers, vegetables, naan (bread), and delicious desserts. Our Tandoori dishes are very much liked by our Arab customers. Our main customers in the restaurant are Arabs because of the food we serve in good quality, hygienic and tasty."
He added that "in our third branch which is located at Tadamun Al Arabi Street, we will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner (non-veg and pure vegetarian dishes). We will serve South Indian dishes like Thaali, Dosa, Vada, Idly, Uthapam and Poori which I am sure will be like by our customers. We will also serve starters, kebabs, Chaats, North Indian dishes and different varieties of ice creams. We will be serving high quality breakfast with excellent aroma."
He further said the third branch is completely different from the other two branches. "We will be serving to our customers a very different concept. This will be the first restaurant in Saudi Arabia where traditional South Indian dishes will be available to our customers along with the Chaats and Kebabs which are quite familiar in North India. We will be serving "similar to Ideal ice-cream" which is famous in Mangalore (India).
We will be serving food a la carte and planning not to go for buffets and parties in the third branch as the space is quite less. We will also be serving the famous Raj Kachori Chat from Mangalore in our restaurant.
The third branch will be opened from 7 a.m. to 12 midnight every day.
