Hussain Saeed Alnahdi, a Saudi student studying at UW-Stout, died as a result of traumatic brain injury, Menomonie Police Department revealed as they released images from a video showing two women who they say may have more information on the case. Alnahdi, 24 was a junior majoring in business administration. He was found unconscious, bleeding from his mouth and nose, in the 400 block of Main Street East shortly after 2 a.m. on Oct. 30. Witnesses reported he was assaulted by a 6-foot man who fled the scene. Alnahdi died on Oct. 31 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire. Police released the cause of Alnahdi's death Monday after conferring with the Dunn County medical examiner's office on a preliminary autopsy report, Menomonie police Chief Eric Atkinson was quoted as saying by the local media. "The two women who come into sight in the video may have information about the murder and may both know more details about what happened," Alnahdi's brother, Ali, told AlArabiya.net. The Saudi Consulate in Houston has hired a private investigation firm to gather information related to the death. Complete Investigative Services in Eau Claire will forward any information gathered to local law enforcement. A total of $20,000 in rewards has been offered to those providing information leading to arrest and conviction in Alnahdi's death. Alnahdi was buried in Sharourah on Nov. 6.
