Kokan XI stuns Hyderabad Royals

JEDDAH — The sixth Jeddah Champions Trophy (JCT) Cricket Tournament for Al-Miawiah JCT Trophy began at the Sulemania grounds here recently.
The 15-over tournament, organized by Azizia Deccan team, in association with Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC), is mainly sponsored by Al-Miawiah and Al-Salem York. The co-sponsors are Aqualite, Clas, G21 Optics and Intalaka Group.
The tournament began with tremendous intensity with some of the top teams fighting it out to start off their campaign on a winning note. Forty teams are vying for honors this year.
While last season finalist Hyderabad Royals suffered a loss against Kokan XI in an extremely tense encounter, Jeddah Warriors Club had it easy against a hapless Super Chargers, winning by a mammoth margin of 153 runs.
