Abbas and Ahmed excel in Morning

JEDDAH — Abbas Saad of Al-Saudi Green with 6 for 10 and Ahmed Mugheri of Sadafco with a fine all-round performance stole the show in the SCC Morning T20 Tournament, played under the aegis of Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC) and managed by WPCA.
Al-Saudi Green, Indomie United Universal, Sadafco, Bihar International Fighters, IDB, Arcoma and ATC emerged winners in the matches held last week.
Al-Saudi Green thrashed Jeddah Gladiators by 8 wickets. Jeddah Gladiators batting crashed for just 66 against some brilliant bowling by Abbas Saad, who grabbed 6 wickets for just 10 runs. Manzoor took 2-7. Ali scored 17 and Jemali 15. Al-Saudi Green, in response, got to 69-2 in 34 balls as Faisal hit an unbeaten 37 and Amjad 14 not out.
Indomie United Universal beat ADI XI by 6 wickets. ADI XI posted 147-6. Bilal scored 25 and Adeel remained unbeaten on 50 off 34 balls. Alam took 2-30. Indomie United Universal reached 149-4 in 96 balls. Ijaz Khan hit 48. He added 109 in 74 balls for the first wicket with Tariq Siddiqui, who also made 48. Bilal Hasan compiled 28. Adeel claimed 2-10. Sadafco defeated Zamil Cool Care by 68 runs. Sadafco, batting first, piled up 160-9. Ahmed Mugheri was the top scorer with 73 in 54 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes. Atif scalped 3-24 and Washif 3-33. Zamil Cool Care, in response, was bowled out for 92. Amir stroked 27, Wajid 16 and A. R. Patel 30. The wrecker in chief Ahmed Mugheri, exhibiting fine all-round performance, scalped 5 for 7 and Rahman took 3-17.
Bihar International Fighters thrashed Super Cricket Club by 9 wickets. Super Cricket Club was restricted to 87-7. Adnan scored 55 in 34 balls. Abid grabbed 4-7 and Moin 3-8. Bihar International Fighters raced to 88-1 in 52 balls. Faisal smashed 53 in 27 balls and Abbas remained unbeaten on 20.
IDB trounced Cousins XI by 26 runs. IDB racked up 177. Rizwan hit 53 in 25 balls, while Waseem made 51 in 42 balls and the two added 100 in 61 balls for the second wicket. Adeel scored 23. Naveed Qamar scalped 3-32. Cousins XI managed 151-7. Adil scored 17, Irfan Khan 16, Naveed Qamar 54 and Naveed Saher 17. Khalid took 2-20.
Arcoma prevailed over NNG Sports by 5 wickets. NNG Sports was bowled out for 128. Kausar hit 22, Mubashir 37 and Ehtesham 15. Nabeel was the pick of the bowlers with 4-25, Mujtaba Asif claimed 3-28 and Abid Pervez 2-16. Arcoma made 131-5 in 79 balls. Abid Pervez hit 27, Shareef 21 and Ayazuddin 28. Haseeb scalped 2-32.
ATC won against Kashmir Strikers by 6 wickets. Kashmir Strikers was bowled out for 121. Samiullah Najjar stroked 33, Owais 17, Munawwar 22 and Shabbir 27. Sajjad took 4-27. ATC, in reply, took 93 balls to get to 124-4. Abdulraheem hit 38 and Kashif 42.
