Pilgrims coming from the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, United States, Egypt, and the markets of the Far East were amongst the top geographical groups which stayed at Conrad Makkah Jabal Omar, benefiting from the quick direct access to Al Haram and the Holy Kaabah, which the hotel enjoys via its 12 elevators.
Online booking through Hilton's preferred channels has emerged as a new channel of hotel booking during Hajj, in a market being heavily dominated by travel agents. Hilton HHonors members received exclusive discounts, HHonors Points and free Wi-Fi, and were able to check-in, choose their own room and enjoy a personalized and memorable experience, all part of Hilton›s «Stop Clicking Around» campaign, the largest ever launched in the company›s 97-year history.
