"We have a big name for weddings in the market and I thought this is the right time to refresh that since competition is getting keener," said Norbert Borszcz, general manager of InterContinental Jeddah, who conceived the idea of the wedding exhibition and also inaugurated the event. He added that the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) applauded the idea and encouraged the management to hold another exhibition after three months. Speaking of the wedding packages, Borszcz said, "When a client comes to us for a wedding we simply ask them ‘Let us know when and how you want to celebrate the most important day of your life and we'll do the rest.' We have a dedicated and experienced team who is actively involved in understanding clients' needs in collaboration with professional contract partners to provide the best wedding services." In addition to a grand exhibit of wedding gowns and a fine selection of gourmet chocolates and snacks, the center of attraction was the incredible display of delectable wedding cakes, accented with beautiful cascading fondant flowers that are offered as a part of the wedding package to add splendor to the special day. The first day of the exhibition, which was exclusively for ladies, brought an actual wedding to life when models dressed as brides ascended from the flower clad staircase holding beautiful bouquet of flowers, depicting traditional Arab weddings. The bride's well-organized walk to the stage clearly showed that the hotel's team holds strong experience in traditional celebrations and offers uncompromising personal service with dedicated attention to detail in order to ensure that the wedding day is spectacular.
