Six expatriate workers were injured when shells fired from inside Yemen fell on Najran Water Factory, Saudi Press Agency quoted Najran Province Civil Defense spokesman as stating on Sunday. Among the injured, there are three Indians, two Bangladeshis and a Nepali. Several vehicles parked in the factory's courtyard and premises of the factory were damaged by shrapnel. The injured workers were rushed to the hospital and an ensuing fire in the factory was controlled. Al-Arabiya reported that on Sunday morning projectiles fired by Houthi and pro-Saleh militias fell in front of the municipality building of Al-Tuwal, a Saudi border town in Jazan Province. Several cars were damaged. No loss of lives was reported. Some reports said the head of the municipality was slightly injured. Meanwhile Arab coalition planes carried out air raids on sites near the Saudi-Yemeni borders on Sunday morning, targeting militia sites in Al-Malaheet area in Al-Dhaher Province, bordering the Saudi province of Jazan. They also hit some military reinforcements in Haradh, opposite Al-Tuwal, a Saudi border post. The Saudi armed forces captured several Houthis in Al-Rabouah town that is barely 2 km away from the Saudi-Yemeni borders. Several others were killed during their attempt to infiltrate into Saudi territories. On Sunday evening, the situation in Najran was calm after the Saudi joint forces thwarted a massive infiltration bid by the militias. A number of military vehicles belonging to the militias were rendered useless and scores of Houthis were killed in the operation. Earlier, the Saudi-led Arab military coalition supporting the legitimate government of Yemen announced on Saturday in a statement that Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces intercepted on Friday night a Scud missile launched from Yemeni territories toward the city of Khamis Mushayt, without causing any damage.
