Consul General of Pakistan ON this auspicious occasion of the Independence Day of Pakistan, I whole-heartedly felicitate all members of Pakistani community living in the Kingdom. I also take this opportunity to extend to them my best wishes for success in their future endeavors. 14th August brings forth memories of the gigantic efforts of the Muslims of South Asia and their sacrifices in the creation of our beloved homeland Pakistan under the dynamic leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Pakistan was achieved without war and practically by moral and intellectual force. Pakistan has made all out efforts for its economic development and growth and promotion of its economic and commercial interests. The country's economy has made significance progress towards strengthening macroeconomics, financial stability and all-inclusive growth, a fact that has also recently been acknowledged by global economic bodies. The Consulate General of Pakistan, Jeddah has always striven to provide best services to all those members of our industrious community who approach us on account of their consular and welfare issues. We have launched several initiatives to reach out to them with a view to further improve our services at the Consulate. I am grateful to our community for their cooperation and support for enabling us to succeed. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share common political, strategic and economic objectives. The relationship between the two countries is exemplary, unique and deep rooted in history. The two countries have jointly worked to achieve durable peace and security for our region and beyond. We are also determined to promote sustainable socio-economic development not only for our respective peoples but also for the Islamic Ummah at large. The presence and the contributions of the dedicated and hardworking Pakistani expatriate community in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have further cemented these brotherly ties. Let us pledge to redouble our efforts to further deepen the existing all weather and time-tested relationship between Pakistan and brotherly Saudi Arabia. Let us pray for the security and prosperity of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
