Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Petrochemicals and Industrial Investment sectors led shares higher. At the close of trade, the Saudi stock benchmark Tadawul All Share Index added 0.98%. The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Anb Insurance, which rose 4.98% or 1.00 points to trade at 21.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Buruj Cooperative Insurance Co added 3.98% or 0.75 points to end at 19.60 and Saudi Electricity Company was up 3.54% or 0.65 points to 19.00 in late trade. The worst performers of the session were Wataniya Insurance Company, which fell 5.93% or 1.60 points to trade at 25.40 at the close. Al-Ahlia Insurance Company declined 2.00% or 0.15 points to end at 7.35 and Dallah Healthcare Holding Company was down 1.40% or 1.25 points to 88.25. Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 127 to 24 and 18 ended unchanged. Shares in Wataniya Insurance Company fell to 5-year lows; losing 5.93% or 1.60 to 25.40. Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.51% or 0.22 to $43.24 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.20% or 0.09 to hit $45.48 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.10% or 1.35 to trade at $1342.65 a troy ounce.
