A leading US magazine, Becker's Hospital Review, published a list of the best American hospitals for 2016 in terms of premium healthcare services. The selection was based on a number of standards, the most important of which were: patient satisfaction about healthcare services, competency of medical staff and quality of medical services. As you can see, the opinion of patients about the medical experience they have had at a hospital is important for assessing the performance of the hospital. The feedback of patients is vital for improving the quality of healthcare services. We want our hospitals to offer excellent healthcare quality services and deliver an exceptional patient experience. We want them to be clear, well presented and organized. We want them to treat patients well and make patients feel that they have come to the right place should they have a heart attack, feel short of breath or be injured. When patients feel safe and unafraid of falling victim to a medical error or negligence, we can then say that our hospitals and healthcare centers have won patient satisfaction and trust.
