L'ALLIANCE Française d'Arabie Saoudite, French Cultural Center and internationally renowned language school is part of the great family of Alliance Française spread over 5 continents with more than 816 centers in the world. The young institution born in 2010 and now based in Riyadh, Jeddah and Al Khobar welcomes each year more than 4.500 students, francophones and francophiles, with the main goal of teaching French language and spreading French culture in Saudi Arabia. Through the recruitment of trained, qualified and native French-speaking teachers, the Alliance Française offers general French courses for all level, a wide variety of workshops (speaking workshop, writing workshop...), tailor-made classes and thematic workshop for children. Because French language remains its main activity, Alliance Française of Saudi Arabia gives priority in developing innovative and attractive methods of teaching, by setting training programs and providing modern educational materials. With the willingness to consolidate and formalize the language level of students, Alliance Française offers also certifications and exams approved by French Government and International Educational Referent (DELF, DALF, TCF, TEF): An indispensable tool — available at Alliance Française only — to enable students to complete their studying and working projects in French-speaking countries. Finally, Alliance Française has many collaborations with the private and public sectors in Saudi Arabia, teaching french language in several companies and ministries of Saudi Arabia. In parallel, Alliance Française became recently a renowned cultural center in Saudi Arabia. The institution, relay of the French Embassy in culture promotion, hosted this year numerous cultural events like exhibition, screening, open-doors and animation for children. Following the tradition of Alliance Française and working in collaboration with French Embassy, Alliance Française is becoming a cultural protagonist in the country.
