Saudi Gazette JEDDAH — Renowned Pakistani religious scholar Moulana Mohammad Ilyas Ghuman lauded the services of Kingdom in serving pilgrims and those coming here to perform Umrah. While speaking at a Iftar and dinner reception hosted by Chaudhry Mohammed Riaz Ghuman, an active member of Jeddah based Pakistan national solidarity forum (PNSF), at the Mehran restaurant recently, he said Pakistani people have great respect for Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, the Crown Prince, Deputy Crown Prince and the people of Saudi Arabia. Therefore, Pakistani nation will not hesitate to give any sacrifices for the safety and protection of holy lands. Saudi Arabia has always helped Pakistan generously at every occasion. When the people of Pakistan endured hard times and suffering from natural disasters, Saudi leaders have proved that they are truly our big brothers, he said. He said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia has a historical and distinguished relation between themselves as both country have been established on the basis of Islamic ideologies. He further said the enemies of Islam are not active only in Pakistan but they are fighting and conspiring against Islam and Muslims globally. We need to unite against the anti forces and foil their aims, and we have to develop fully Islamic law in Pakistan. He thanked host Riaz Ghuman for hosting the reception and appreciated the efforts of Convener PNSF Syed Riaz Bukhari, who united the members of various political, social, welfare, academic, literary, cultural and other organizations from Pakistani community on a common platform. Moulana Ilyas also explained of virtues of Ramadan and prayed that May Allah accept our fasting, prayers and good deeds. Earlier Riaz Ghuman welcomed all guests included Malik Abid Awan (PML-N), Ch. Khalid Chail (Jet forum), Malik Mohiuddin (Chakwal forum), Ch. Mohammed Afzal Butt (Business community), Nosherwan Khattak (ANP), Sheikh Mushtaq (PTI), Tahir (JUI)), Aijaz (JI), Riaz Bajwa (PNC), Syed Ehsan-ul-Haq (PRC), Sheikh Luqman (Memon community), Ch. Baber Jett (PML-Q), Raja Zareen Khan (Kashmir Committee), Engineer Aziz Ahmed (Engineer Society) and Media Persons. He also congratulated Moulana Ilyas for performing Umrah and visiting the Prophet Mosque in Madinah.
