EY hosted its 2nd CFO Forum in Jeddah, focusing on the rising opportunities and challenges facing CFOs with the announcement of Saudi's Vision 2030. The event was attended by CFOs from some of the largest companies in the Kingdom. Ahmed Reda, Office Managing Partner, EY Jeddah, said: "The intention of Vision 2030 is to drive growth and positively impact businesses across the Kingdom. As CFOs are key business operators, they will need to update their strategies and execute these changes, which are expected to generate greater opportunities. EY will continue to conduct similar forums gathering CFOs with our MENA experts, keeping them up to date and aware of the changes and opportunities that lie ahead." The discussions at the forum were led by Dr. Fadi Al Buhairan, MENA Advisory Leader at EY, who spoke about the ‘The potential impact of Vision 2030'; Omar Abaalkhail, Compliance Manager at EY Riyadh, who presented ‘The major changes in the new companies law', and Yousef Wahbah, MENA Head of Transaction Real Estate Hospitality and Leisure, who presented a session on ‘KSA White Land Tax'. — SG
