Violations in vegetable and dates market

The municipality has recorded a number of violations in the vegetable and dates market. During inspection campaigns on vegetables and dates market, Sakaka Municipality seized 376 foam cartons that were unsuitable for use, 39 unclean and wet blankets and bed sheets and 62 cartons of vegetables. The municipality issued 23 warnings to kiosks violating health regulations.

EASTERN PROVINCE — The municipality has closed down five stores during its inspection campaign. Eastern Province Al-Nayiriyah Municipality head Saeed Shuwail said the municipality organized several inspection campaigns to inspect food stores, cafes and restaurants. The inspectors visited over 78 different stores during the past few days and shut down five of them due to various violations. The inspectors issued 22 violations and seized 50 kg of rotten food.
Madinah Red Crescent
attends to 2,785 cases
MADINAH — The Red Crescent received 2,785 reports during the past few days of Ramadan. Madinah Red Crescent spokesman Khalid Al-Sihly said several reports were received from inside the Prophet's Mosque and its arenas, road accidents and medical emergencies. The Red Crescent offers medical care and attention to victims with the help of volunteers. There were 1,294 emergency cases, with 989 of them regarding respiratory and cardiovascular diseases. Al-Sihly said 603 people were treated on the spot while 305 of them were transported to hospitals. The Red Crescent also responded to 305 reports of road accidents, domestic accidents, daily accidents and victims tripping and falling. The Red Crescent transported 129 victims to the hospital and treated 176 victims on the spot. There are 25 Red Crescent paramedics groups available in the Prophet's Mosque to immediately address any accidents or injuries. There are over 1,300 volunteers at the mosque of both men and women.

BURAIDAH — Several drifters were arrested over the weekend north of Buraidah. Traffic Department reported it arrested a number of youth during the weekend for multiple traffic violations including drifting. The Traffic Department is closely monitoring areas where young men are known to gather in and commit several violations.
