Parents' body felicitate topper students

The International Indian School Parents' Organization honored students of IISD who topped in their class X and XII Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examinations results, which were announced recently.
Dr. Siddik Ahmad, chairman and CEO of Eram Group, was the chief guest at the felicitation ceremony which was also attended by Abdul Waris, current Chairman of the Indian school and Dr. Mohammed Shaffe, the principal and head of the institution of IISD, who in his keynote address explained to the parents the challenges that school faces and schools expectation from the parents as well as the community members.
The IISD is the largest Community School in the Gulf Region and the Middle East. With strength of nearly 18,000 students, the school faces a plethora of problem, which includes building problems, students and teachers management, coordination between widespread units and tackling continuous queries and interference from the parents and different social organizations.
Amid all these problems, IISD continues to produce best results not only in the Kingdom but also in the Gulf region. Principal Shaffe expressed his appreciation of his teaching staff as well as other support staff who work untiringly to achieve best possible results.
Dr. Abdussalam Kanniyan, former chairman of the school, was honored by the organization. Zaheer Baig, a scientist at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, was master of the ceremony who introduced all the guests and highlighted the purpose of such felicitation. During the function the parents' body also released its logo. Among others who joined the felicitation ceremony included Rasheed Umar, member of the managing committee, and Gopinath Meno, principal of Al Khozama School, Alikutty Olavattur, Shahariyar Khan, Mohammed Abdul Wahid, Tirunavakaras, Zainul Abideen and Abdul Majeed.
Chairman of IISD felicitated by Hyderabad Association
Meanwhile the Hyderabad Association in Dammam recently felicitated the newly elected chairman of the International Indian School, Dammam, Mohammed Abdul Waris.
Dr. Abdul Salam, former chairman, Dr. Frances Borgio, Irfan Khan and Mohammed Hasnain Akhtar, managing committee members were also present at the function. The president of the association, Mirza Zaheer Baig, praised the managing committee and hoped that the members will continue in their endeavor to uplift the standard of education at IISD. He extended all support to the new chairman and school management.
