Published in The Saudi Gazette on 05 - 06 - 2016

Adrian Beltre homered, doubled and drove in five runs, leading Yu Darvish and the Texas Rangers over the Seattle Mariners 7-3 Friday night in a matchup of AL West leaders.
Texas and Seattle, who play six times in 10 days, went into the game tied for the division lead. The Rangers have won five of six overall.
Beltre hit a three-run homer in the first inning and a two-run double in the third.
Darvish (2-0) gave up three runs and six hits in 5 2/3 innings, striking out five and walking one while throwing 88 pitches. Last week, the All-Star ace made his first start since August 2014 and Tommy John surgery, allowing one run and three hits over five innings to beat Pittsburgh.
Taijuan Walker (2-6) allowed six runs and nine hits, including a homer by Jurickson Profar, in five innings. Walker is 0-6 in his last seven starts.
Reds 7, Nationals 2: Cincinnati hit three home runs and spoiled Dusty Baker's return to Great American Ball Park with a 7-2 victory against the NL East-leading Washington Nationals.
It was the third consecutive win for the Reds, and their fourth in the last five outings, while Washington saw its four-game winning streak come to an end.
Blue Jays 5, Red Sox 2: R.A. Dickey ended his drought against Boston and Edwin Encarnacion and Devon Travis hit two-run homers as Toronto won its fourth straight game.

Mets 6, Marlins 2: Noah Syndergaard won his fourth straight decision and James Loney hit a two-run, tiebreaking home run to lead New York over Miami.
Syndergaard struck out nine in seven innings, allowing two runs, six hits and one walk. For Loney, it was career home run No. 100 and his first with the Mets, who acquired him May 28 after starting first baseman Lucas Duda suffered a back injury.
Indians 6, Royals 1: Danny Salazar pitched eight innings, allowing one run and three hits, and rookie Tyler Naquin hit his first major league home run as Cleveland beat Kansas City.
Yan Gomes also homered for the second-place Indians, who have won the first two games of the four-game series to move within 1/2 game of the first-place Royals in the AL Central.
Salazar gave up one run and three hits and had nine strikeouts and five walks.
