Alswaha new managing director of Cisco KSA

CISCO, the worldwide leader in IT, has announced that Abdullah Alswaha has been appointed Managing Director of Cisco Saudi Arabia.
Abdullah will lead Cisco Saudi Arabia and work closely with partners to support customers in the private and public sectors in their efforts to digitize and transform their operations. He will also continue to develop the organization to ensure it is one of the most attractive places to work for top talent in the ICT sector.
Alswaha joined Cisco Saudi Arabia in 2005 and progressed rapidly through the company's ranks. He started his Cisco tenure as a Technical Team Lead before moving on to become Regional Sales Manager and later Director of Operations, a role in which he oversaw the development of Cisco Saudi Arabia's systems engineering, public sector, commercial, service provider and channel operations. Since 2015 Abdullah has been Deputy Managing Director, working closely with Cisco Saudi Arabia's leadership team to bring the benefits of digital transformation to organizations and industries and strengthening Cisco's market position.

Abdullah holds a Computer Science and Communications Engineering degree from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), and has completed multiple executive education programs at Harvard Business School in finance, economics, business analytics and disruptive strategy. He is an active member of in Saudi Arabia's ICT community, a board member of the Technology Advisory Board in Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd University (PMU), and the founder of social entrepreneurship incubator that helps entrepreneurs deliver life-changing solutions in healthcare and education.
