ICONIC introduces Summer Collection
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 04 - 05 - 2016

ICONIC, the leading fashion brand in the region, has launched its summer 2016 collection for men, women and children.
Women Collections (RebelSoul) have distinctive designs, materials and craftsmanship with a jet set aesthetic that combines with stylish elegance.
Expect preppy yacht clubbing essentials and clingy knit dresses with their sexy strappy backs. There is high emphasis on fabrics like modal, lace, knit and linen. Simple, clean silhouettes mark a key trend in the season in a color palette of tangerine, beige and navy
Rhythm cascade – TEA AT RITZ's pleated, high-waisted dresses accentuate the female form, while contrasting textures on ladylike ensembles lend an eccentric ambience to this look. Both demure and daring, this collection is laced with bursting blooms with fresh aesthetics of colors like valiant poppy.
Tribe beat - RIVER GAUCHE draws inspiration from Parisian Left Bank girls' unapologetically bohemian, free-spirited way of life, creating a new take on 1970s-influenced looks. Classic looks are reworked with contemporary details and volume, while kick-flares are cropped and more streamlined, modernizing the look. The collection's delicate aesthetic intertwines with the African tribal energy with use of soft and bold colors like champagne, and Tibetan red.
The New West will make you feel like stepping out in chic separates and flowing silhouettes with bohemian undertones. The look is inspired by the 70's boho trend with the classic shapes taking center stage in a clean and streamlined casual line. A must have for the season, look dreamy in all white and white paired with indigo for the perfect summer. Can't go wrong in patterned lace, viscose jacquard, and cotton gauze and crushed crepe. Embroidered lace, china mosaic tile inspired print are some such details that create that statement.
Poolside glam, which is influenced by tropical and Latin themes, intermixes Caribbean florals, rich foliage and for an electrifying mix of color and print creating an elusive combination of styles with fabrics such as silky chiffon, high density crepe being used in key pieces like evening gown, jumpsuits, blazers, dresses. Glam factor is upped with the use of embellishments and snake trims for that touch of drama in a rich color palette of green, almond brown and caviar black.
Menswear's collections come with elegant and modern designs. One of its trends is Asian Fantasia which is all about bold fusion of exotic orient and Sicilian suave. Cultural representation is big in the collection as clothes can be seen depicting a parade of dragons, swallows darted through bamboos and Chinese emperors clothes. Having said that, the pieces do not lose their integrity as commercial ready to wear pieces in spite of the heavy oriental influence.
Colors are red, yellows mixed harmoniously with whites and blues. The shapes are very relaxed to give a feel of ease as fabrics are dobbies and knits structures. The look and feel of the collection is cross pollinating with modernism and athleticism.
Refined Nautical takes its references from the 50s with a mystical and edgy outlook. Expect to see a sharp and tailored look for the man with the collection leaning towards casual tailoring with contemporary silhouettes. Shake up you nautical look with prints that will make a bold statement like sea monster repeats, tattoo like placement's and standard nautical imagery. Color palette is wide with cowhide, medieval blue and chambray blue as the key colors for the trend.
TROPICOOL, a vibrant trend, never fails to add that spunk to your wardrobe. The tropicool trend spells a long idyllic tropical holiday with the collection consisting of functional and accessible clothing. Prints dominate the trend with tropical prints with palm trees, big florals and leaves prints on key pieces.
