Saudi Arabia has become host to the first electric motor manufacturing facility in the Middle East and North Africa region with the inauguration of TECO Middle East here Monday. The facility, located in a 34,000 square meter area at the Second Dammam Industrial City, is now the seat of a world-class technology that will eventually transform the Kingdom into a hub of research and development in electric motors manufacturing and center of production in MENA. “This facility has the best high-end technology in motors manufacturing, capable of producing all types of motors, and supported with just-in-time after sales services,” said Saad Al-Arfaj, CEO of TECO Middle East. TECO Middle East is a joint venture between TECO Electric & Manufacturing Company Ltd. of Taiwan and Saudi corporate groups, namely Al-Quraishi Electrical Services of Saudi Arabia (AQESA), Shoaibi Group, and Al Ashjaea Est. __
