Tips for losing weight

Many of those who are overweight struggle trying to loose weight each year, only to fail in reaching their target. One of the reasons for not reaching their weight loss goals could be because people often follow hard diets that see them eating more than before once they stop dieting. Because of this, experts say the best weight to loose weight and keep it off is to develop a healthy lifestyle and keep away from extreme diets.
Coach at one of the Kingdom's health clubs, Afnan Tulpah, said that those who want to loose weight should eat one apple, with the peel, first thing in the morning. She said that according to many studies, apple peels help in losing weight. A breakfast of food with lots of calcium, such as low fat milk, cheese, and yogurt, is also vital.
Tulpah stressed the important of having two snacks between meals to boost metabolism and aid in loosing weight. For instance, eating nuts provides the body with Omega3, so eating a very small portion gives the body the chance to lose weight.
"Grilled proteins or boiled potato or vegetables is advisable to eat during lunch. A small piece of dark chocolate or dried fruit between lunch and dinner," she said.
Having an early dinner full of protein was one of Tulpah suggestions for losing weight and to avoid being hungry.
"If the person was hungry after dinner, they can either eat an apple or grapefruit as a small snack, since it helps in burning fat. It is vital to drink around two liters of water everyday to lose weight," she said.
Drinking two to three glasses of water in the morning helps in eating less during breakfast as well as lunch. Drinking water in the morning helps in cleansing the body.
Her advice is to schedule food portions and drinking water so that you can be aware that you are eating right, sticking to a healthy routine, and see its impact on your body.
Some studies of the general and basic rules for losing weight suggest eating very small portions of carbohydrates and sugar. According to one study, by cutting crabs a person's appetite will go down. People who have the desire to losing weight should eat more protein in their day since research has shown that protein helps in decreasing a person's cravings by 60 percent and increases their metabolism by 80-100 calories per day.
Adding more movement and activities in your day is also vital, as this burns more calories. If you are a sporty person and you used to go to the gym three times a week, adding walking to your activities will be helpful. If you walk two times a week for around 30 to 40 minutes, you will increase your metabolism and lose weight more easily.
