Canucks edge Bruins in repeat of Cup Finals

The Vancouver Canucks scored four power-play goals to beat the Boston Bruins 4-3 Saturday in the the first game between the teams since last year's NHL Stanley Cup Finals.
Ryan Kesler lifted the Canucks, who have the NHL's best power play, to a 1-0 lead in the first period, but Brad Marchand and Rich Peverley responded for Boston. Alexander Burrows tied it in the second period and Henrik Sedin put the Canucks ahead at 19:47.
Vancouver's Cody Hodgson and Boston's David Krejci scored in the first two minutes of the third period and the Canucks hung on to take a small measure of vengeance for losing the Stanley Cup despite having held a 3-2 lead.
Flyers 3, Senators 2, OT: In Philadelphia, Danny Briere scored in overtime to complete his hat trick and lift Philadelphia over Ottawa.
The teams traded goals in the third period. Ottawa's Bobby Butler had given the Senators a short-lived 2-1 lead, poking in a rebound before Briere scored his second of the game with a shot that deflected in off a defender's stick. Briere had given the Flyers the early lead before Ottawa tied it on a tap-in by Milan Michalek in the second period.
Stars 4, Oilers 1: In Dallas, Jamie Benn scored twice, including the tiebreaker in the third period, as Dallas downed Edmonton.
Mike Ribeiro also had two goals, giving him four in two games, and rookie goalie Richard Bachman made 25 saves.
Jordan Eberle, Edmonton's leading scorer with 17 goals and 43 points, sustained a knee injury in the opening period and did not return.
Blue Jackets 1, Kings 0: In Los Angeles, Curtis Sanford made 31 saves for his sixth career shutout, helping lowly Columbus edge Los Angeles.
Devils 3, Penguins 1: The Devils are not worried when they have to play short-handed.
Adam Henrique's short-handed goal turned the momentum, Ilya Kovalchuk and Dainus Zubrus also scored and the Devils handed the Penguins their fourth consecutive loss, 3-1, in Pittsburgh.
Coyotes 5, Islanders 1: Shane Doan scored at the buzzer for the first three-goal game of his 16-year career, leading host Phoenix. Doan, 35, played in his 1,161st game. Frans Nielsen scored for the Islanders.
Blues 4, Avalanche 0: Kevin Shattenkirk had a goal and an assist and Brian Elliott made 15 saves for his fifth shutout as host St. Louis ended Colorado's four-game winning streak.
In other matches it was: Maple Leafs 4, Red Wings 3; Canadiens 3, Lightning 1; Jets 2, Sabres 1; Predators 5, Hurricanes 2; Calgary 3, Minnesota 1; San Jose 5, Washington 2.
