Aston Martin's new DB11 makes debut in Kingdom
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 26 - 03 - 2016

SHEIKH Ali Alireza, Managing Director of Haji Husein Alireza, together with Aston Martin Middle East representatives are to reveal the long anticipated DB11 at the opening ceremony of the new custom-built Haji Husein Alireza dealership showroom in Riyadh on March 29.
Also on display at the unique event will be the last of the first of the ‘double-figure' DB cars the DB10, the iconic car used in the latest James Bond film, ‘Spectre'. Of the ten DB10s built for the film, eight were destroyed in the making of the epic and one is in private hands.
Present at the glittering evening will be the British Ambassador Simon Collis together with specially invited dignitaries, VIPs and existing Aston Martin owners in the Kingdom.
"The new DB 11 marks a unique way-point in the history of Aston Martin, as it crosses into double figures for the marque," said Sheikh Ali Alireza. "This magnificent car is the natural development of the DBX crossover concept, the CC100 and the unobtainable DB10. It fuses the best of all three into a what I am positive will prove to be the founding car of a new generation of Aston Martins."
Alireza noted that the Aston Martin cars have always been beautiful and had a timeless quality about them. "A design can however evolve and still keep these qualities. The new DB11 is a very different car from the classic DB5, but it is still instantly recognizable as an Aston Martin."
The new Riyadh showroom most prestigious Aston Martin showroom in the Middle East, and is the company's GCC flagship. It is located on Riyadh's most prestigious thoroughfare, Tahlia Street, the fashionable haunt of high society and the ‘movers and shakers' of the Kingdom gather. The showroom has been constructed to the highest Aston Martin corporate identity standards and reflects the power, beauty and soul central to the sports car legend.
Supporting the superb aftersales service and care, the showroom has the full back-up of a dedicated Aston Martin workshop comprising, a trained team with the specialist skills and all the equipment to maintain these thoroughbred vehicles in peak condition.
The warm ambience of the 10-car atelier showcases Aston Martin in an appropriately calm environment lavishly finished in marble, with examples of Aston Martin automotive art in gallery-lit showcases and on a turntable, the better to exhibit the flowing aerodynamic streamlining that characterizes the vehicles.
The ambience of considered reflection is augmented by a relaxing coffee bar and seating area where prospective clients can discuss the options for their vehicles with an experienced Client Support Manager, experienced in meeting the specific requirements of each guest.
The Haji Husein Alireza Company, sole distributors for Aston Martin in Saudi Arabia, in parallel with the UK based company have both invested substantially in the future of the brand. Aston Martin has developed into a force to be reckoned with in the motor industry and with a range of new models taking their design clues from the DB11 and with a range of new engines and turbocharging to be included in the power train, the future looks very positive for the brand.
Mark Pocock, General Manager for Aston Martin at Haji Husein Alireza, is absolutely confident about the future of the brand.
"Aston Martin is a leading developer of supercars and has achieved that position through evolving design, leading edge engineering and ferocious on-track testing, while all the time keeping the customer very much at the center of their thinking," he said.
"This has all been backed by substantial investment by Aston Martin and in the Kingdom by Haji Husein Alireza, who provide the highest level of services and facilities to put the customer at the heart of everything we do and deliver a service that matches the quality of the brand."
