Saudi Arabia gears up to set new Guinness World Records
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 24 - 03 - 2016

THE Kingdom is attempting to set an exciting new Guinness World Records for the ‘Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Ben 10'. Brought to life by Rainbow Flavored Milk, one of FrieslandCampina Middle East's most popular brands, in partnership with Cartoon Network, the highly anticipated event is set to take place on Friday (March 25), in the Fountain Area of Red Sea Mall in Jeddah.
The world record attempt will involve 500 kids aged between 4-11 in Ben 10 costumes gathering in a Rainbow logo formation. The event will offer an amazing experience full of fun and games for the kids and families alike to make their weekend truly unforgettable. The little superheroes will be kept entertained and on their toes by a range of interactive games and exercises to promote a healthy yet fun lifestyle. They will also have the chance to meet and take photos with their favorite cartoon hero, Ben 10, all while sipping on Rainbow Flavored Milk.
Hein Raijmakers, Marketing Director of FrieslandCampina Middle East, said "this Guinness World Records attempt is a perfect opportunity for us to celebrate our Saudi presence as well as tap into and engage the youth of the country. We are pleased to partner with Cartoon Network's Ben 10 character, a show that has enjoyed immense success amongst Saudi kids, to set an incredible milestone in our journey. The combined teams are very excited to attempt this Guinness World Records title and we encourage the people of Saudi Arabia to support this incredible feat and join us as we aim to create history and make the Kingdom proud."
Registration for participation will be open from 5 PM on the day of the event. Once registered, organizers will guide the participating kids to the main arena where they can enjoy the interactive games and simple exercises and win exciting prizes, reinforcing Rainbow Milk's mission to encourage the adoption of a healthy lifestyle in an enjoyable manner. Later in the evening, participants will be guided to stand in a pre-designed Rainbow Milk logo formation where they will take part in this Guinness World Records attempt.
Along with complimentary samples of Rainbow Flavored Milk and healthy snacks, registered kids will get a goodie bag full of exciting Ben 10 gifts and a personalized Guinness World Records participation certificate to memorialize their contribution to this iconic attempt.
Successfully operating in the GCC for over 60 years, Rainbow Milk, also known as Abu Quos in the region, is regarded as one of the first multinational brands in the Arab World which has been present in the region since 1955 and is owned and managed by FrieslandCampina.
