THE wheel of time is ever moving. Each year it brings alive memories of a day that we have left 76 years behind. The whole nation celebrates this blessed day. The Pakistan International School, Al-Khobar ‘s management, teaching staff and students also celebrate this festive occasion with traditional zeal and zest. On this auspicious day we resolve anew to safeguard our independence, we refresh our determination to strive for peace and prosperity of this cherished land. It is a time to re-strengthen our bonds of love for our motherland. We as a nation cannot and will not forget the glorious dream which the poet, philosopher saw for a free homeland. And we won't forget the commitment, the unswerving determination and the innumerable sacrifices behind the creation of this new state for Muslims. On this occasion we remember the great leader, the father of the nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. We remember our countless men and women, and girls and boys who sacrificed their lives for the struggle of freedom and during partition. Freedom is sweet and precious. So the management, the staff and the students of both boys and girls wings make a firm resolve to work for our motherland and ensure that it is strong, stable and peaceful. And in honor, strength and greatness it is second to none. Our mission is to make Pakistan stronger and greater. The simple philosophy behind our entire academic endeavor is to provide quality education to our students and at the same time keep them in close contact with glorious teachings and traditions of Islam and fill their heart with the noble sentiment of patriotism. And in that spirit we strive on.
